the pledge

  • We pledge to help raise awareness of the disparities missing Black women and children often face in media coverage, public attention, and access to resources.

  • We commit to honoring the lives, stories, and families affected by these disappearances.

  • We will use our voices to share information responsibly, support efforts that seek justice and answers, and advocate for equal attention and urgency in every missing persons case.

  • We believe that every missing Black woman and child deserves to be seen, valued, and searched for without bias or neglect.

  • Through education, community engagement, and compassion, we will help pass policies which ensure adequate resources.

As part of this campaign, we invite you to join us in the following pledge:

Together, we can foster awareness, strengthen community action, and work toward a future where Black women and children do not go missing and are safe to live freely and wholly.
